Chloé and Ethan met during the summer of 2015 at the Glassell Park Swimming Pool - a quaint neighborhood spot. While chatting at the pool, and later at the bar next door, they learned they had a lot in common. They were both graduate students at UCLA, Ethan in Comparative Literature and Chloé in Public Health. They had both completed the same study-abroad program in Rabat, Morocco. They both lived in the same neighborhood in Brooklyn prior to moving to Los Angeles. And they discovered that Chloe's Grandpa Joe and Ethan's Great Uncle Steve had been dear friends in OKC. A few weeks after that fateful meet-cute at the pool, they both happened to be traveling to Berlin at the same time. They spent the week wandering the city, and they’ve been exploring life together ever since. In October of 2021, the day after Chloe's birthday, Ethan took her and their precious pup Willow to the baseball field next to the Glassell Park Pool.
