Travel & Lodging

All the fun will be taking place in the Santa Barbara area.

Getting to Santa Barbara

Santa Barbara has its own municipal airport, SBA. It’s small and easy. For people preferring to fly into Los Angeles (LAX), the drive to Santa Barbara takes about one hour and 30 mins. If you’re familiar with LA traffic, you know that this driving time could take much longer if you’re in rush hour. The good news is that the second half of the drive goes along the Highway 1 coastline, giving you a gorgeous welcome to the wedding festivities.

Getting around Santa Barbara is fairly easy, whether you decide to bring or rent a car, or stick to Uber and Lyft.

Lodging Recommendations

Room blocks

We have discounted room blocks at two hotels. They are a 9 min drive or 40 min walk from one another. They are both located close to the beach, in the fun, walkable neighborhood of downtown Santa Barbara called the “Funk Zone,” with plenty of places to eat and drink.

We suggest booking sooner rather than later, as Santa Barbara can get busy and spendy. Our room block discounts will only be valid if booked before September.
